Sustainability Management of the SBI Shinsei Bank Group (“the Group”) is conducted under the supervision of the Board of Directors, with decision-making carried out at the Group Executive Committee. As one of the Group’s key committees, the Group Sustainability Committee has been established, chaired by the Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO) and vice-chaired by the Senior Sustainability Officer (SSO). This committee coordinates and discusses matters related to sustainability management and reflects them in business execution. Regular reports are submitted to the Board of Directors and the Group Executive Committee, along with proposals on important matters. Additionally, the Sustainability & Communication Division has been established at the Group headquarters to plan, formulate, and promote sustainability management. Each Group company also has its own sustainability promotion organization to strengthen implementation.

For cross-company and cross-departmental initiatives such as climate change and human capital, thematic subcommittees have been set up to enhance promotion at the operational level.
The Sustainability Disclosure Subcommittee is currently discussing responses for disclosure aligned with SSBJ standards. In November 2024, an SSBJ study session was held for senior management with external experts, and a gap analysis was conducted through June 2025.
In the areas of human capital and human rights, the Group has established key committees such as the Group Human Resources Committee, the Group Diversity & Inclusion Committee, and the Group Human Rights Promotion Committee to coordinate, discuss, and decide on personnel systems and related initiatives.
