The provider of “Cuenote FC,” the email distribution service used by SBI Shinsei Bank (the “Bank”), has announced that it experienced unauthorized access. Based on our confirmation with the provider, the Bank’s service environment was not affected by the incident, and no information leakage has been confirmed at this time.
To ensure the safety of the service and further strengthen security, the Bank continues to conduct necessary inspections and take appropriate measures. Accordingly, effective today, we have suspended both new registrations for News Release Alert Service and the distribution of emails.

1. Change or Cancellation of Service
SBI Shinsei Bank reserves the right to change or cancel the Service without notifying users.
2. Deletion of E-mail Address
SBI Shinsei Bank reserves the right to delete a registered e-mail address without warning to the user if it becomes invalid.
3. Use of External Vendor
This system uses CuenoteFC, a mail distribution system provided by YMIRLINK Inc., to register mail addresses and distribute press releases.
4. Personal Information Collected
SBI Shinsei Bank collects the applicant's name and e-mail address for the Service. SBI Shinsei Bank shall appropriately protect and manage the applicant's personal information based on "Basic Policy Concerning Protection of Personal Information" and shall not use it for other purposes other than the Service. SBI Shinsei Bank shall not provide or disclose the collected personal information to any third party, except in cases stated in "Basic Policy Concerning Protection of Personal Information". Regarding the handling of personal information collected for the Service, please confirm "Basic Policy Concerning Protection of Personal Information".
5. Limitation of Liability
In no event will SBI Shinsei Bank be liable for any trouble, damages or losses arising from the use or the unavailability of the Service.
6. Change of Terms
SBI Shinsei Bank reserves the right to change the terms and conditions of the Service without notifying users.
