SBI SECURITIES Co., Ltd
SBI Shinsei Bank, Ltd. (Head Office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Katsuya Kawashima; hereinafter “SBI Shinsei Bank”) and SBI SECURITIES Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Masato Takamura; hereinafter “SBI SECURITIES”) are pleased to announce that the total deposit balance of SBI Hyper Yokin exceeded ¥500 billion as of December 4, 2025.
Launched on September 23, 2025, the SBI Hyper Yokin, a collaboration service between SBI Shinsei Bank and SBI SECURITIES, offers an ideal solution for temporarily allocating funds while waiting for the right timing to purchase stocks or investment trusts. It enables investors to earn interest even on idle balances, making it popular among individuals seeking greater capital efficiency. Furthermore, by seamlessly linking deposits and investments, it has gained attention as a way to enhance investment flexibility, with demand expanding rapidly.
In addition to its high level of convenience, the attractive interest rate of 0.42% per annum (0.3346% after tax), which is twice that of yen ordinary savings accounts (*), and the popularity of campaigns such as the ‘Start Dash Campaign’ have driven this achievement. Within just 72 days of launch, the balance surpassed ¥500 billion. The ‘Start Dash Campaign’ is now in its 11th phase, offering promotions that position SBI Hyper Yokin as a ‘bank deposit’ to make asset management through SBI SECURITIES more advantageous. Additional campaigns will be rolled out sequentially.
SBI Shinsei Bank is scheduled to be listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Prime Market on December 17, 2025. We see this milestone as a new starting point and will continue striving to enhance our corporate value and deliver innovative services while meeting our customers’ asset-building needs through SBI Hyper Yokin.
SBI Shinsei Bank and SBI SECURITIES will continue to work under the principle of “Customer-Centric Principle,” collaborating with other SBI Group companies to provide services that prioritize customer convenience.
(*) As of December 5, 2025, the interest rate of the Standard Stage yen ordinary savings account was compared with that of the SBI Hyper Yokin, which offers an annual rate of 0.42% (0.3346% after tax). SBI Hyper Yokin is covered by deposit insurance. The interest rate is variable and subject to daily review.
